DEF LEPPARD’S STEVE CLARK REMEMBERED
January 8 marks the 21st anniversary of the passing of original DEF LEPPARD guitarist Steve “Steamin'” Clark.
Clark, who co-founded DEF LEPPARD and played with the band for almost 13 years, died from an overdose of alcohol and prescription drugs at his home in London, England.
A posting on DEF LEPPARD‘s official web site reads: “We are sure that you will all join us today as we remember a shining light who unfortunately parted our midst 21 years ago. Always thinking of you, Steve.”
I would like to add my remembrances in the best way I know how. My favorite Def Leppard song written and featuring Mr. Steve Clark along with a short video message from DEF LEPPARD drummer Rick Allen.
