If you haven’t heard already, the band most credited with being the originators of heavy metal music, BLACK SABBATH, are reunited and working on an all new studio record. The new album, which is tentatively scheduled to be released in the Fall of 2012, will be preceded by a massive tour kickoff at next year’s DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL, in Donington, UK with co-headliners METALLICA who will be playing their BLACK album in it’s entirety.

2011 has been a banner year for metal and hard rock and 2012 looks to be even better with this announcement and big tours from MEGADETH, MOTORHEAD, ANTHRAX, and the possiblilty of more BIG FOUR shows.
