MADAM TRASHY LIVE “IN THE DARK” AT BAL SHOWCASE     LIVE VIDEO

I recently discovered these blokes via the worldwide interweb, or whatever we are calling it these days, and I’m pleasantly surprised.

I hear influences as varied as Alice In Chains, Twisted Root, Masters of Reality, Soundgarden, and some pyschedelia thrown in too. MADAM TRASHY has a cool detachment filled with a hard rock groovy-ness played by quality musicians. These guys can play and I really like their debut.

Another influence I hear is the mighty LOVE/HATE, one of my favorite much underappreciated bands from the early 90’s. Chances are these guys probably never heard of LOVE/HATE but the way the music rolls and flows at times really feels like they have listened to a LOT of LOVE/HATE.

These boys from Brooklyn may have a chance to break thru. Give MADAM TRASHY a listen, I think you’ll agree.
