For the first time in my life I am really looking forward to the new Dream Theater album.

Don’t get me wrong now, I love Dream Theater and think they are one of the most influential and talented metal purveyors of the past 15 years but this is the first album in a long, long time where they have something to prove and may have a little chip on their collective shoulders.

I think that could make this the most interesting, daring work of their career.
