On Thursday, February 3, guitar legend and classical metal master Yngwie Malmsteen will sit in with the amazing house band THE ROOTS on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon”. Expect a mind-blowing display of virtuosity from Malmsteen, as he jams with THE ROOTS on a variety of material. Malmsteen will be featured throughout the entire show.

“Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” airs on NBC at 12:35 a.m. ET/PT.

Malmsteen‘s new album, “Relentless”, sold around 1,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

Yngwie‘s previous CD, “Perpetual Flame”, opened with around 2,000 units back in October 2008, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Released on November 22, 2010 via Malmsteen‘s own Rising Force Records, “Relentless” contains more than 60 minutes of brand new material and showcases the guitar great at his best with the signature virtuosity and mind-blowing technical speed for which he has come to be known. “Relentless” also features striking vocals from Tim “Ripper” Owens (JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH), who first collaborated with Malmsteen on “Perpetual Flame” (Malmsteen‘s first album for the Rising Force Records label).

Of the new album, Malmsteen commented, “The album title really says it all. The drive to surpass my own accomplishments can best be described with one word — relentless. After all these years of composing and playing music, I still am passionate about pushing myself to the limit — to the highest, most demanding level of playing possible.”

Eagle Rock Entertainment will deliver to the masses Russia’s premiere rock band PUSHKING. Their CD, “The World As We Love It”, will hit the shelves on February 1. [MSRP $13.98]

This new album is a 19-track celebration, composed of re-recorded selections from PUSHKING‘s catalogue featuring some very special guests. Paul Stanley (KISS), Billy F. Gibbons (ZZ TOP), Alice Cooper, Steve Vai, Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE), Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW), Keri Kelli (ALICE COOPER), Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL), and Nuno Bettencourt (EXTREME) are just some of the elite rock alumni who RSVP’d for this musical party.

Produced by Fabrizio Grossi (GLENN HUGHES, ALICE COOPER, DAVE NAVARRO, TOTO), “The World As We Love It” is a superior series of shifting moods, showcasing PUSHKING‘s versatile musical prowess. Loaded with soaring harmonics, sky-scaling solos, and just the right amount of grit, the band’s genre-straddling sound is a marriage of solid hard rock and classic Eastern European heritage.

Formed in 1994, PUSHKING is the culmination of vocalist/main songwriter Konstantin “Koha” Shustarev, guitarists Nikolai Yegerev and Dmitry Losev, bassist Valeriy Sadakov, keyboardist Vicktor Drobysh, and drummer Andrey Kruglov. The chemistry within this band has resulted in a potent brand of rock music, which has preserved through their 15-year career and only gets better. “It was a gas singin’ on their record”, states Glenn Hughes. “Take it from me, it’s the real deal!!”

BULLETBOYS‘ self-titled debut album was a smash success during the heyday of heavy metal, going platinum and spawning the MTV and radio singles “For The Love Of Money”, “Smooth Up In Ya” and more. Now original BULLETBOYS members Marq Torien (vocals) and Lonnie Vencent (bass) have reunited to perform the LP from beginning to end for the first time in the group’s long and storied history. In addition, they will include all the hits from the rest of the BULLETBOYS catalog such as “Hang On St. Christopher” plus some surprises. This tour will run March-April.

BULLETBOYS‘ latest album, “10c Billionaire”, was released in July 2009 via Chavis Records. After several delays, mixing and mastering for the CD was completed and the final touches were applied by producer/guitarist Brent Woods (VINCE NEIL, WILDSIDE).

According to, MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil will plead guilty to a drunken driving charge on January 26 and spend two weeks in a Las Vegas jail. He will surrender on February 15 and will serve 15 days in the Clark County Detention Center, followed by another 15 days of house arrest.

“I have recognized that you can’t drink and drive at all,” Neil said in a statement released Tuesday. “I take full responsibility for my actions and will learn from this experience.”

Neil failed three field sobriety tests and had a blood-alcohol level almost three times the legal limit during his June 27, 2010 Las Vegas arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

In an interview conducted two days after arrest, Neil admitted he was drinking and said, “I shouldn’t have been driving. I should have gotten a limo from the Hilton.”

Vince was previously arrested in 2007 for suspected DUI but worked out a deal in which he pleaded no contest to reckless driving in exchange for having the DUI charge dropped, according to

Nevada state law says that people convicted of DUI twice within seven years face anywhere from 10 days to six months in jail.

Neil was sentenced to 30 days in jail and five years probation in 1984 after an accident in which he crashed his car, killing passenger Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley of the band HANOI ROCKS. Neil was driving under the influence at that time.

Neil also pleaded no contest to a charge of assaulting a music producer in 2002, and again pleaded no contest in 2003 to charges he attacked a prostitute at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada. In 2004, an arrest warrant was issued after he allegedly hit a sound engineer at a show in Texas.
