Örebro, Sweden-based metallers SAINT DEAMON have announced the addition of drummer Oscar Nilsson to the group’s ranks. He replaces founding member Ronny Milianowicz, who left the band earlier in the year.

Commented the SAINT DEAMON: “Oscar is from Gothenburg, the metal heart of Sweden. He has been hanging with us for the last couple of gigs — since Ronny‘s defection earlier this spring —and man he knows how to work those drums, In almost no time not only did he manage to learn the songs, but also put his own touch to them in an all good way. We were all blown away as soon as the intro for ‘My Judas’ faded on the first gig.”

SAINT DEMON is working on material for its third album, tentatively due next year via Frontiers Records.

The band’s last CD, “Pandeamonium”, came out in May 2009. The effort was produced by Roy Z (JUDAS PRIEST, HALFORD, HELLOWEEN, BRUCE DICKINSON) and Jens Bogren (OPETH, PARADISE LOST, AMON AMARTH), “Pandeamonium”.
