The End Records are celebrating ANVIL’S career by releasing Monument of Metal: The Very Best of Anvil a “must own” for any fan of metal on September 27th. 19 Pounder tracks filled with choice cuts selected by ANVIL themselves and spanning their entire thirty year career.

The disc will show you why Guns N Roses, Metallica, Megadeth, Motorhead, Anthrax, Slayer…the list is endless, credits ANVIL as pioneers in heavy metal.

Drummer Robb Reiner says, “This compilation demonstrates the full diversity of ANVIL’S sound and feel, from the classics through the dark years to the current. These tracks are more to do with power and melody rather than just the speed aspect, although there are relevant gems included here! We could endlessly compile ANVIL tracks, as most are outstanding in their own rights.
